The committee also provides all logistical facilities and necessary production services to the crews of international production companies.
In light of the endless efforts exerted to attract international production companies to film their movies inside Egypt, given Egypt’s unparalleled potentials, touristic and archaeological attractions, and filming locations. EFC is constantly working on activating this vital file, to place Egypt on the production map of world cinema and making it one of the important destinations for international production companies to film there.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has provided all necessary facilities, in coordination with Egypt Film Commission, as it has allocated a suitable location for filming the movie, and another for the work team to reside in the Pyramids plateau, as well as reviewing all the filming details in order to protect the archaeological sites in the region.
For its part, the Ministry of the Interior Affairs was keen to provide the highest levels of security measures for the production company’s crew, from the moment they have arrived at Cairo Airport, until the end of filming and their departure, as well as during the filming operations, which included many action scenes such as car chases, explosions, and the use of helicopters. All this reflects the magnitude of the production, and the full security readiness to ensure that these scenes come out in the best possible way.
The team of the
American production company SKYDANCE expressed their great admiration for the sites
and archaeological monuments they have seen in Egypt, as they represent great filming
locations for the international film production companies, unmatched in their
beauty and antiquity by any other filming location.
Moreover, they confirmed that the professionalism the work team experienced in dealing with the Egyptian officials in charge of the movie, enhances Egypt’s position as a primary destination for cinematography, in addition to the expertise they found in dealing with those in charge of the film industry in Egypt, through the Egyptian production company ASAP PROUDUCTIONS, which provided all Aspects of technical support and production services for the American company.
